Originally pioneered by Steve Lis a whole lifetime ago, the fish is recently responsible for enticing a whole generation of surfers to look to their heritage to see an alternative to the cookie cutter mentality of modern professional surfing. The fish was considered a novelty, often sneered at by the uninitiated. They are now so widely accepted that almost everyone has one in their quiver, beginners and pro’s alike. And if you don’t have one, you better get one quick because you are missing out. The fish is now realised to be the most diverse and user friendly board available.
