They have enjoyed a resurgence in the last few years with a massive decrease in their length, and a modernisation of their features. We have been refining our mini Simmons designs for the last 4 years or more now. The board is a revelation to ride. They are loose, oh so skatey and the fastest board you’ll feel under your feet - period. Black Apache Surfboards Mini Simmons’ are based on a subtle planning hull design. A rolled bottom shape that combines a deep concave slot that runs from the tail to the midway point between the feet. The rails are chined up in the rear in a similar fashion to a hydro- hull or tri-plane hull. Designed so that even the heaviest of riders can go tiny in size. These boards are ridden ridiculously small, rarely getting over the 5’8 mark. Made to be ridden up to 12″ shorter than your regular ride. An awesome fish alternative. The only question is how small can you go? Available from 4’2″-5’8″. Good times at 5’2″
